Great video, I really enjoyed the comparison and your opinion on both quality guitars.

I ended up buying two versions of this amp, the normal one and the British EL34 versions. They are great amps. I have played for 35 years and normally used hand wired deluxe reverbs or Princetons but now I use these Roland hots. I did think there was a very slight solid state fizz in the overdrive when I first got the first one, but after burning in the speaker for 10 hours with a looper this disappeared and they both now sound incredible

I have this piano , I love it , I upgraded to a $7000 +/- Roland LX9 ( I returned I after a week) the sound on the LX9 is horrible and synthetic, the keyboard action on the LX9, that one is noticeably better but it’s 7 times the price, but the sound on the rp107 is pretty organic, warm and balanced , you can make beautiful music with it , the keys have some flex to them which sometimes doesn’t feel as nice , when you play repeated notes , the keyboard can be kind of noisy (it’s not horrible but you notice), but for the money it’s beautiful and really competitive. When I play in my leaving room the power is enough and the bass sounds great but when you play in rooms with tall ceilings, it can be missing some extra watts , I tried the kawai on this price point , the sound was a close call , but the action was heavier and a little bit better on the Roland, it has helped me a lot to develop strength in my fingers, the lx9 was a horrible experience , I will try the kawai ca701 for my upgrade and keep this Roland to play in my shed when it’s a beautiful day outside.

Does Roland RP-501 have a battery compartment as well?

Does anyone have issues with some keys being unresponsive? First I thought I needed to adjust to the keybed (coming from a yamaha, never used a roland before) but I notice that I need to press the same key twice to get a sound out or to be able to modulate the velocity. Anyone else experienced something similar? I don’t want to go the route of return and reorder. I read in some fora that some of these issues are bugs and can be fixed by updating the go keys…

The Fp-60X is $999.. shouldn’t it be on the list too? I’m considering it for the better speakers and display compared to the 30x

I just tried this one in the store.. The quality of the acoustic and electric guitar channels is very good.. The looper volume cannot be changed once recorded... There is no master volume to raise the blended channels together... But for the money it is excellent.

Can you connect the keyboard to the PC using USB and then access Roland Cloud ? Or you forced to buy the WC-1 Cloud adapter?

"Vs" from sellers are the worst: they never say what they really think because they sell both and don't want to kill a sale or trigger haters/fanboys. You obviouslly think one is better... Just say it.

i got a bd2 first THEN a ds1 ds 1 has noo volume compared to it. and honestly preffered the full gain bd2 more than a ds1 with half gain

Kind of a dumb comparison, since these guitars are both from the FG series and hence are constructed very similarly, with the price difference coming from the onboard pickup with atmosfeel actuator. A comparison that would make much more sense would be to stack the fg800 up against an LL16 for example, since spec wise it is a clear bump up with all solid wood construction and comes in at around that 1000$ mark.

Can anyone comment on the app for Roland and it's Bluetooth connectivity? The app in Google Play is rated poorly with lots of issues with connectivity and no way to save settings. I'm having a really difficult time finding thorough reviews on these instruments and the software to use/integrate all the features. I'd love to hear more users' opinions the different manufacturers' apps (if applicable) for their digital pianos.
